The Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research provides this Website to allow interested members of the public, as well as Kaiser Permanente physicians and staff, to learn about the research-related activities of the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. This Website also provides information about several of the studies underway at the Division of Research, as well as the work of research sections and research programs based at the Division of Research.

This Website allows users to:

  • view research & health-related information.
  • communicate with our practitioners and our staff.
  • access additional services.

The information provided on the Website is not a substitute for the advice of a personal physician or other qualified health care professional. Using secure messaging

Kaiser Permanente Division of Research provides users with a Contact Us form to inquire about a research project or ask other questions related to the Website.

Any personal information you submit to the Website is governed by our Website and Privacy Statement. (A link to our privacy practices is available at the bottom of each page on our Website.)

Passwords

Kaiser Permanente Division of Research has several tools that allow you to record and store information. Kaiser Permanente expressly reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate a user’s access to to any or all other areas of the Website due to any act that would constitute a violation of these Terms and Conditions. To the extent there is an inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the Website Privacy Statement, these Terms and Conditions shall govern.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you agree to receive communications by email. These communications may include (but are not limited to): responses to an inquiry you make about a research project.

Use by children

We do not knowingly allow Kaiser Permanente members under the age of 13 to create accounts that allow access to the secured features of the Websites.

Although we attempt to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the information on the Website, we make no guarantees as to its correctness, completeness, or accuracy. The Website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or other errors or omissions.
